The SCHRC works toward the betterment of hunting retrievers through the sharing of knowledge on breeding and training among its members and providing controlled testing for hunting retrievers. Further, it is the purpose of this Club to promote complimentary conservation, and management of game birds and wildlife species and stewardship of their habitat.

The Vancouver Island Retriever Club has been in operation since 1961 and and has the distinction of having the largest membership in BC.

The Island & Pacific Labrador Retriever Club, also known as IPLRC, is located in Victoria, BC, Canada on Beautiful Vancouver Island. Our members are active in Obedience, Rally, Conformation and Retrieving. The IPLRC offers Obedience and Rally Classes

The Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) is the primary registry body for purebred dogs in Canada and currently recognizes 175 breeds. As a non-profit organization, the CKC is dedicated to encouraging, guiding, and advancing the interests of purebred dogs and their responsible owners and breeders in Canada and promoting the knowledge and understanding of the benefits which dogs can bring to Canadian society.
